For the clay printer experiment, I wanted to use an old piece I used for my FDM drawing project in OBDF-310, primarily because it had interesting hatching and I wanted to see how the clay printer would handle something like that.
Unfortunately, because of how things turned out, the printer was out of service during the time I was free to do so. I was really excited because I was introduced to the clay printer in the same 310 class, and found it a fascinating machine, especially, too, since in the same class, I got comfortable with using pronterface and using grasshopper to manipulate gcode and an FDM printer.
Hopefully, though, I have the chance to experiment with the clay printer again in the near future.
