Within the Castle Walls
Taking heavy inspiration from both Final Fantasy XIV's Camp Dragonhead and Spain's many iconic castles like the Castillo de Burgalimar, Alcázar de Segovia, and Manzanares el Real, I've decided to make a smaller rendition of these strongholds by recreating their most common features into one piece.
Admittedly, I had to scrap an earlier version of this project due to two main things; my chronic overachiever tendencies, and the current limitations of my Rhino knowledge--which, unfortunately, my previous experience with 3DS Max or Blender did nothing to help me through it. Now, I usually enjoy learning new software (yes, big nerd, I know), but it's far less fun when I'm on a deadline. I like to mess around with all the different buttons I can press and figuring out what they do.
So, I did away with my previous idea and went with a classic stone keep layout.

That helped me manage my sanity process much better since it cut out much of the decorative clutter I wanted to do (something that was egregiously time consuming and incredibly self-indulgent :( ).
Apart from the basic 3D shapes, I ended up using the PushPull command often for general shape manipulation as well as the MakeHole command for windows and doorways. However, I did end up struggling with the Orient On Surface tool for my window pieces because, for some reason, it just hates me and decides to turn my window arches sideways at any given opportunity.
But otherwise, I think it's just a matter of finding my footing with Rhino and building a more efficient work process. (One that hopefully doesn't involve idly spinning my model around in perspective view for five minutes)
